Brazzers Award: Pornstar of the Year
Yes let the controversy begin. I'm sure one of your favorites got snubbed. I took the ten that I felt the most deserving of this award. I feel a quota must be reached in order to be considered. Then I factor in everything else as different types of scenes whether they be threesomes, different sites, anal, and strength of ratings.
Past Winners: Phoenix Marie (08) & Rachel RoXXX (09)
Almost impossible to decide for one, but after narrowing it down to Asa and Rachel, I chose Rachel.
Shyla should have been on here no doubt--she IS Brazzers. I voted for Mason Moore.
Is Mason Moore the only performer to be in more than one poll?

I think I'm going to write in Nikki Sexx and vote for her. Based on the criteria you mentioned (different types of scenes, different sites, anal, strength of ratings), I really think she should have been on the list.

Jayden Jaymes - the amount of her scenes went way down from '09. Still managing to avoid an anal scene for ZZ members hurts case too. Like Lisa Ann, she's made a change to how she performs going into this year would hurt her votes for past year.
Nikki Benz - it was going to be impossible for her to reach the heights she had in '09. Plus no anal scenes and sharing the spotlight with other chicks in '10 hurt. Her contract signing to Penthouse would hurt her votes too.
Rachel Starr - always seems to come up short for this award. Still not doing anal for ZZ (but for EA) and way too much sharing the spotlight hurt her overall nomination.
Shyla Stylez - has had an average year by her standards. Plus too many negative comments about her putting on weight or out of shape. If she's getting hate like that how she going to win.
Nikki Sexx - let me say just because she is the most popular star posting on the forum doesn't get her a nomination. While some of you count the Live show as a scene, I do not. She got a scene added to her overall amount by having a "situation" that was hard for her to overcome during her Live show. She does that Live show without a hitch, she's not rewarded with that DP scene (JMO).

Even without the second PSP scene (the DP), she still had the same number of scenes this year as Aletta Ocean, one more if you count the DP, which I do. So that's three anal scenes and a DP, all with extremely high ratings ("Revenge" being the highest rated PSP scene). Half of her Brazzers scenes were released this year, so I definitely think that she's gaining a lot of momentum.
Anyway, my write in vote for her stands.
As for the others you mentioned, I agree with your thinking on Jayden, Nikki Benz, and Rachel Starr (especially with Rachel Starr doing anal for EA and not for Brazzers). I'm a bit undecided about Shyla.

Nikki Sexx.........love her, but that Live show hit her bad, even though she put out a hell of a scene with the DP psp scene.
Only problem is the ONLY reason that scene was made was because of the incident that happened at the Live show like Snoogans pointed out.
Nikki Sexx is the coolest pornstar imo at the moment, but just being cool doesn't mean you're the best, she still has more to prove.

as for Rachel i think u did mistake.Every scene that she did in last year was awesome , yes without anal but everything must be with anal?? i cant see how it would hurt her.

as for Shyla... she stated getting weight in late 2009 so we have only two scene where she is out of shape because she back to shape few months later. These "bad" scenes are "Dirty Car Sals Woman" and "Free Ass Ride" so we have still five scene where she is in shape. And these "not in shape" scenes has good ratings (9) too.Her PSP scene is the best scene that she ever did on ZZ (but maybe im not objective) And dont forget that she rocked live 5 and live 5 is still the best live show for a lot ppl here. And bad comments are everywhere on the site so i think its not good argument.In the same way u shouldnt put Lisa in Milf poll because her condom drama would hurt her now.So i think its mistake too.

Great list! I think you can make a good argument for most of the girls on the poll. My only concern is that a few milfs who seemed to have monster years for ZZ were left out. I realize there is a Milf of the Year poll, but I think Diamond Foxxx, Ariella Fererra, and Siena West all might have deserved some consideration. The same could probably be said for the beautiful Krissy Lynn who is leaving us hungering for more as she moves to South America. Though I do understand that you have to narrow the field at some point. In the end I chose Alanah Rae. She had an outstanding year with multiple threesomes with some of Brazzers hottest stars and finished in style with excellent holiday scenes for Christmas and Thanksgiving! My only complaint is that for some strange reason she has yet to be included on a Brazzers LIVE scene yet! Oh well, hopefully there is much more to come from her in 2011! Its great to see that we already have one on the docket coming January 4!
